Life is holding on and letting go.

Nancy and I set out on this trip for adventure, and because we wanted to just "get away from it all" and I feel like we accomplished everything we intended to do.

The truly extraordinary thing about the trip is that it has brought us even closer together. Nancy and I now know even more about one another...we know more about ourselves...and we know more about our Dads.

She and I sang their favorite songs. We saw some of their favorite parts of the country. We found joy in the same things they loved and she and I knowingly and unknowingly found more of who we are as friends, people, and daughters. We love you Dads and thank you for always believing in us.

We'll stroll hand in hand again
In the land that knows no parting..."

Cason and Nancy,
I read your trip journal and now I'm planning my own trip! Your adventure is inspiring. Thanks for swinging by Chateau Kathy on your way back home. Delilah and I enjoyed your company and all of Fort Worth says "Y'all come back now, ya hear?". Have a great fall semester and come back soon, really. Go Cowboys!
Love,
Kathy

What a blessing it is to have a very best friend. Someone you can have fun with, even in a ditch!!!
