Nancy and I enjoyed a delightfully cheap oatmeal breakfast. I slaved over the hot stove for hours...boiling water...pouring it into the bowl and adding it to the Quaker Oatmeal packet. My word. I'm exhausted. So with a good healthy whole grain start to the day:

Horseback riding.
Outlet Mall shopping.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in CO. Springs, and everyday we get closer to seeing Nina and Winter!!! We are both enjoying the beautiful mountain views...the crisp clean air, and we are above all enjoying each other's company.
The day spent at Pikes Peak was so much fun and it truly left us feeling starstruck. The experience and the view yesterday is proof enough that if you look with humble eyes you'll be amazed at beauty that is not man made. Keep an upward and positive outlook and you'll see the gifts of nature that are all around you each and every day. We found it in the wildflowers, in the clouds, in the sunshine...we saw it in the wildlife, and the mountain landscape. The mountain terrain was never the same...no piece was alike...but it meshed together in order to form one of the prettiest sites we've ever seen. So keep an open mind with open eyes and look at the world around you with appreciative eyes. Nancy and I are so grateful for the gifts that surround us. The gifts that we cherish aren't man made we didn't buy them...they are the beauty that surrounds us...the scenes and the views that make us seem so rightfully small when placed in front of them, and love and the bond that she and I nourish and build with every bend in the road and every rock climbed.
